The United Macedonian Diaspora invites you , your family, and your friends to the long-anticipated Chicago Premiere of A Name is A Name on Friday, November 12, 2010 (7:30 p.m. start time) at the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies. A Name is A Name is a cross between a documentary and a feature film, a classic “road film” filmed over a period of 7 months within Macedonia. The Norwegian-Icelandic directed documentary has premiered in Toronto, Washington, D.C., New York, Detroit, Sydney, Melbourne, Skopje, among other places. It is a documentary you do not want to miss!
Details for the Chicago Premiere below. Please pass along to all your family members and friends, especially non-Macedonians! I suggest buying tickets in advance versus at the door, as we are anticipating 400 guests. To buy tickets, click here
UMD is currently trying to raise sponsorship to offset the cost of organizing this event in downtown Chicago. If you or if you know of anyone who would be interested in being a sponsor, I have enclosed the sponsorship categories and form. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Please note: All sponsorship donations are 100% tax-deductible.
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you on Friday, November 12, 2010! This is a great opportunity to show our strength as a community and pride in our Macedonian heritage!
Please spread the word!
